The Promark Shira Kashi Oak JZ "Jazz" Nylon Tip Drum Sticks have a diameter similar to that of a 7a with a long, thin neck for a fast, responsive rebound. The nylon oval tip helps to create a warm, bright, articulate cymbal tone.
Jazz Nylon Tipped Oak Sticks
These 7a style sticks feature a light, thin feel typical of the 7a size but have added responsiveness thanks to the long, thin taper.
The light weight, quick rebound and bright cymbal articulation make these sticks perfect for jazz settings, when fast, clear cymbal work is required.
The oval shaped nylon tip provides a much brighter, more articulate, warm tone than standard wood tips.
Manufactured in Texas, USA, these sticks are made from Shira Kashi Oak which is a dense and heavy wood that provides a sturdy feeling stick that offers excellent ride articulation.
Typically, sticks made from oak are extremely durable and tend to last longer than sticks made from other types of wood.
