This 120v US model has been professionally converted to 240v UK/EU voltage by 'tapping' the transformer. This is a reversible process and does not involve replacing the transformer. The same cannot be done with a UK model. The technician did this modification under guidance from Supro.

Channel 1: Clean; with volume, tone and reverb controls. Is it based on Supro's Keeley Custom clean channel and has a fantastically high headroom without distorting. Supro recommend this for pedal users as it is a particular crisp and clear clean tone. The tightness of the bass frequencies make it ideal for those using lower tunings too. The boost function will saturate the tubes, allowing a volume boost and earlier breakup.

Channel 2: Overdrive; Independent gain, treble/bass/mid controls. This is a cascaded gain system and is capable for more gain than any other Supro amp ever made. The boost mode will, as with the clean channel, saturate the tubes further and give more gain. There isn't much volume increase, but that's similar to using an OD pedal at the front end as vou'd expect.

Reverb: Tube driven, 3 spring reverb tank assignable to any combination of channels. Dwell control is on the rear
- this controls the level of signal attenuation when using the drive channel. Can be controlled by a footswitch.

An interesting feature is that a footswitch can be plugged into many of the rear ports to allow control over reverb, channel selection, boost or loop engage/disengage. You'd need 4 different ones to do all this, but almost every footswitch works with it (Laney/Mesa/Marshall)

Effects Loop: All-tube with buffered signal. Can be disengaged if required.
