RG Series 8 String Guitar
Possibly the most recognisable guitars from Ibanez, the RG series has been made for metal for over three decades, resulting in a high-performance machine with incredible speed and strength.
27" Scale Wizard II-8 Neck
Made of 5 piece Maple and Walnut, the securely bolted on Wizard II neck is fast, flat and very slim. It is extremely comfortable to play and allows for lightning speed playing.
With an extra long scale of 27", this neck offers incredible sustain and clear articulation; even when the RG8 has a has been tuned very low.
IBZ-8 Pickups
Delivering the incredible roar that an 8-string guitar player requires are a pair of IBZ-8 humbucker pickups.
These passive ceramic pickups offer a deep, warm tone that retains its clarity - even at the lowest drop tunings.
A three way pickup selector switch allows you to select which pickup you'd like to use or a combination of the two while two control knobs all you to adjust the overall volume and tone of the RG8.
Ibanez Quality Construction
Designed for both speed and strength, over three decades of design have gone into forging this metal playing machine we call the Ibanez RG8.
The body has been expertly crafted from Mahogany and features a Gibraltar Standard bridge which offers smooth playing comfort and optimal string transfer.
A fixed bridge, it allows you to get the full-on sound of an RG guitar without the hassle of double-locking designs.
Through-body stringing further increases the sustain of the RG8, making for an all-around incredible 8-string guitar that just sings.
