The Peavey ValveKing 212 Combo is a fully tube-driven guitar amplifier that blends high-end characteristics with hot-rodded sound options while upholding Peavey's renowned reliability. One of its standout features is the patent-pending Texture™ control, allowing users to seamlessly switch between Class A and Class A/B power configurations, or any combination of the two. This exclusive capability grants guitarists the flexibility to create a wide spectrum of tones with this customized amplifier.
The preamp and power sections of the Peavey ValveKing 212 Combo are driven by 6L6GC and 12AX7 tubes, respectively, and deliver their sonic output through specially voiced 12-inch ValveKing speakers.
This versatile amplifier provides two switchable channels, each equipped with its own three-band EQ and volume controls. The lead channel can also be boosted with an additional footswitchable gain/volume feature, perfect for enhancing solos. The Peavey ValveKing 212 Combo further includes global resonance, presence, and reverb controls, a buffered effects loop, and dual speaker jacks in parallel for added convenience.
