The Marshall 1959SLP guitar amplifier head brings back the classic Plexi 100 watt Super Lead head of the late '60s in a fantastic vintage reissue.
100 Watt Super Lead Head Reissue
Marshall are well known for their quality amps and their 100 watt "Plexi" heads.
A particular favourite from their storied history is the Super Lead head from the late 1960s which has been authentically recreated in the Marshall 1959SLP.
Amazing Recreation
For complete authenticity, the engineers at Marshall took an original Plexi head amp for the era and through intensive research & development managed to replicate it. We defy anyone to tell the sound apart between the Marshall 1959SLP amp head and the original.
While the sound is exactly the same, Marshall have added a little modern functionality.
This very welcomed update is a tonally transparent Series FX Loop which boasts a True Bypass switch to maintain your signal integrity.
Four EL3 power amp valves and three ECC83 pre-amp valves drive 100 watts of fantastic tone.
You can shape your sound to perfection using the 3-band EQ and presence control too, making this amp a fantastic bit of gear for any stage set up.
