Ibanez's PNB14E-OPN is new to 2018, and is a Parlor-style acoustic bass with a 12-fret neck join. Featuring a Mahogany top, back and Sides, Open Pore Natural finish, smooth Mahogany neck, Laurel fretboard, Ibanez Undersaddle pickup, and a whole host of goodies, this bass would make a wonderful addition to any collection, and can be yours for a price that's affordable for all.
Small Body, Big Sound
On the PNB14E-OPN, Ibanez have opted for an all-Mahogany construction. The rich, harmonic overtones produced by the Mahogany are perfectly accentuated by the Open Pore finish, delivering a tone that is warm, soft, and deep, making it perfect for an acoustic bass. In addition to this, there's an undersddle pickup and onboard preamp, allowing you to amplify your sound via an acoustic amp or even a mixing desk!
Put simply: this bass would be perfect in a variety of live settings, whether you're rehearsing at home, busking, or playing in a well-amplified venue.
