Crafting an ASAT Classic

Lightweight and comfortable to hold, Swamp Ash has been used for the body of the G&L Tribute ASAT Classic.

With Swamp Ash boasting a beautiful natural grain, the Tribute ASAT Classic has been coated with a transparent finish to really show it off.

Not just there to look good; the cutaway on this guitar allows for easy access to the upper frets, perfect for reaching those high notes during a solo.

Attached to the body via traditional bolt-on construction is a hard-rock Maple neck with an easy-playing medium C profile.

Atop the neck is a Maple fretboard with 22 medium jumbo nickel frets for all-around great playability.

Leo Fender Designed Electronics

Fitted in both the neck and bridge positions, the G&L Tribute Standard ASAT Classic is equipped with Magnetic Field Design pickups designed by Leo Fender himself and made In Fullerton, California.

MFD pickups give the ASAT Classic a voice all its own, with the neck pickup offering you a beautifully rich tonal palette that you can take from pristine, clean jazz tones to thick and gritty blues.

The MFD bridge pickup gives you seriously crisp attack with some amazingly complex harmonics.

Three-way pickup selection allows you to choose between either of the two pickups or a combination of the two while volume and tone controls offer further refinement for perfecting your tone.

High Quality Hardware

Up on the distinctive hook headstock, you’ll find size 18:1 ratio tuning machines offering amazingly precise tuning of your strings.

Down on the body, there’s an old-school style boxed-steel bridge which holds six individual brass saddles so you can get the refined precision of modern intonation.
