Classic Telecaster Style
The iconic profile of the Fender Telecaster has been crafted from Alder, with its single cutaway design allowing for easy reach of the upper frets – essential for solos and other adventurous performance styles.
Attached to the body via 4-bolt vintage-style neck plate is a “C” shaped Maple neck. Great for all playing styles, this is the most prevalent neck shape, originally making its mark in the late ‘50s and ‘60s.
Atop the neck is a Rosewood fretboard with an original-era 7.25” radius and 21 vintage-style frets for that authentic 1960s playing feel.
Authentic ‘60s Tone and Vintage-Style Hardware
Giving the Fender Classic Series ‘60s Telecaster its great sound is a set of three vintage-style single-coil pickups that faithfully recreate the fantastic sound and style of a real Telecaster from the 1960s.
The Fender Classic Series ‘60s Tele is also fitted with a three-way pickup switch allowing you to choose from the following pickup selections:
- Position 1: Bridge Pickup
- Position 2: Bridge and Neck Pickup
- Position 3: Neck Pickup
Putting further sound sculpting control in your hands, the Classic Series Tele also features Master Volume and Tone controls.
On the body of the guitar, you’ll find a vintage-style bridge with its strings-through body design providing enhanced sustain. It holds three chrome barrel style saddles for that real retro flair.
Up on the head stock, there are six vintage-style tuning machines proving precise and secure tuning of your strings and that all important ‘60s aesthetic.
