Super Shell Technology
While most entry-level drum sets have pretty plain shells, that's not the case with Pearl Export kits.
Made from a 6-ply blend of poplar and Asian mahogany, Pearl Export shells deliver beautifully rich, full-bodied tone.
Furthermore, to build these shells, Pearl utilise their legendary SST (Super Shell Technology) construction process.
With strategically arranged plies of premium wood, the Pearl Export shells optimised frequency response from every component.
Each shell is formed using extreme heat, precision cut scarf joints and Pearl's proprietary Acoustiglue. Over 1000 lbs of hydraulic pressure is used too!
As a result, these shells rock the ultimate acoustic air chamber.
Pearl Opti-Loc Mounting System
With rubber isolators at two tuning points and another at one of the drum's two air vents, Pearl's special Opti-Loc Mounting System's three-way attachment design provides you with maximum sustain and resonance while boasting wobble-free performance.
