With the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Expression Ramper is a simple-to-use, but highly innovative way to automate expression control, that's capable of truly spectacular sounds from any pedal with an expression input.
Parameter Mover
So, how does it work? Well, with the Expression Ramper you simply pick two different expression settings then move between them, either as a single motion or as a continuous LFO.
Simply hook the Expression Ramper to the pedal of your choice, pick your first expression setting in the A position, then you're second in the B position, and you're ready to rock!
Three-Mode Setup
Once set up, you can assign the Expression Ramper to move between both settings in three different ways - TRI, SQR, and A<>B modes.
Tri mode allows the effect to glide in a linear Triangle Wave sweep from A to B, whilst SQR mode makes instant Square Wave jumps - both of which are LFO modes that will run continuously should you wish.
A<>B mode, on the other hand, triggers an impressive one-shot sweep, which takes your sound from A to B or B to A each time you press it.
The speed of both of these modes are set via the Rate knob.
