Asymmetrical Neck
One of the original Axis guitar's standout features was its asymmetrical neck profile. This neck is specially designed to offer the maximum amount of comfort, whatever your playstyle.
By "asymmetrical", we mean that the neck is slightly thicker towards the bass strings, than it is towards the treble side. This makes the neck feel as though you've been playing it for years, and makes light work of both chord-playing and lead runs.
Versatile Electronics
In addition to a pair of hard-rocking humbuckers, this guitar features a fantastic 5-way switching system, giving you plenty of tones to play around with.
In addition to the traditional Bridge, Middle, and Neck humbucker sounds, this switch will activate single coils from each pickup in positions 2 and 4.
These two extra positions give you a couple of different, classic single coil pickup voicings, making the Sterling SUB Axis one of the more tonally versatile guitars available in this price range.
