Meinl Light Husk Brushes

Meinl Light Husk Brushes

Order before 3pm Mon-Fri for Next Day Delivery

The Meinl Light Husk Brushes provide a more mid-range sound than the standard Husk Brushes. For use with a variety of drums and percussion instruments.

Light Husk Brushes

Husk Brushes are lightweight bundles of straw material that offer a unique sound that sits somewhere between brushes and rods. If you’re looking to expand your drum kit or percussion instrument sounds, the Meinl Husk Brushes offer a great way to do it.

The Meinl Light Husk Brush is constructed using strands of lightweight straw that are loosely bundled together to offer more flexibility for a wide range of sound responses.

Featuring a thin bundle of strands, the Light Husk Brush provides a light response with a mid-range sound.

The Light Husk Brushes feature 2 sets of thin adjustable rings allowing drummers to achieve the desired amount of strand spread. Simply roll the adjustment rings towards the tip of the brushes to create a more compact bundle with a robust sound, or roll the rings towards the handle to create a wider spread of strands for a brush like response.

Finished with a stylish transparent easy-to-grip handle adorned with the Meinl logo, brush variety name and black end stoppers for added comfort.

If you’re looking for a light volume response from your drum kit and percussion setup, with a good mid-range sound spread, the Meinl Light Husk Brushes are a great choice. The Light Husk Brush would work superbly paired with the standard Husk Brush to offer the best of both worlds. With the full low-end of the Husk Brush and the increased mid-range response of the Light Husk Brush the combination of the two would serve to offer a great overall sound.

Meinl has developed an array of brushes and rods, as part of their Stick and Brush range, for a variety of sound options and musical situations.

Meinl Stick and Brush

The Meinl Stick and Brush series feature a range of various drumstick sizes and tip options, along with selections of multi-rods, brushes and mallets. Whether you’re looking for the perfect feel and response in a drumstick, want a specific percussion sound or require the light touch of brushes or rods, the Meinl Stick and Brush range covers all options. From drumsticks and brushes to mallets and timbale sticks Meinl have something for every musical situation.
