Honey by name, honey by nature. Inject your drum sounds with warmth and sweetness using Meinl's Drum Honey. These sticky, jelly-like discs can be placed on drum skins and even cymbals to decrease overtones and unwanted ring. Best used for capturing the perfect recording studio take or keeping your snare on a leash during intimate performances.
Easy to use, these colourful dampeners can be removed and reapplied elsewhere whenever you need them. They'll make your snare fatter and tighter, and give your toms enhanced focus and faster decay.
Don't worry about them leaving residue on your prized drums, either. They're completely non-toxic, and washing them with soap and warm water will even reactivate their self-adhesive properties.
In Use
I mean a lot of companies are releasing similar products, and these types of gels have been around for some time now, so much so its hard for us drummers being creatures of habbit to look into something different thats the same thing.
But I urge you to take the leap of faith and buy into these non toxic lovelies, they do a job and dont leave behind any stains or gloop. also being able to wash them is fantastic and gives them a longer life span!
We are pretty impressed with these here at PMT, yes its only a small cheap product but when something makes a difference and stand out, like these have, its worth mentioning.
