The Meinl Byzance Traditional 20" Crash has an energetic, exploding attack, a loud volume and a warm tone across the frequency range.
20" Traditional Crash
Meinl's Byzance range has proved very popular with drummers of all genres and for very good reason. Their wide variety of sounds from Brilliant and Dark to Traditional and Vintage.
Here we have a 20" crash from the Byzance Traditional range. The medium weight of this crash means it has a good balance between a big, lively attack with vast volume and a full-bodied tone. Rather than a loud punch of sound that fades to nothing, this crash offers a medium sustain that will give you a punch of sound and then stick around to serve up bags of tone.
As with the whole traditional range this crash has a smooth, warm character suitable for a wide variety of musical styles.
