The Mapex Quick Release Nut For Armory Cymbal Stands offers a quick and easy way to remove and secure your cymbals.

Around 25% of a drummer’s time* is spent unscrewing and tightening the wing nuts on the top of cymbal stands.

That’s why Mapex have created their Quick Release Cymbal nut as part of their Armory hardware range. A quick pinch of the buttons on the locking nut and you can easily remove or install the nut for fast set up and back down.
Pressing the smooth action button on the side of the locking nut widens the internal springs to allow you to easily add or remove the nut from the cymbal stand. Releasing the button once in place releases the internal springs allowing the nut to securely clasp the stand.
Take back all that wasted time spinning wing nuts and picking them up when they inevitably fall on the floor. Use the Mapex Quick Release Nut to speed up your set up and, more importantly, load out times.
