The Ludwig Universal 13" x 7" Brass Snare Drum is modelled after Ludwig’s famous Black Beauty range, emphasising optimal response, sensitivity, and dark warm tones. The Universal Brass Snare Drum features a 1mm brass shell to deliver a rich dynamic range suitable for various tuning ranges and head combinations. This shell is fitted with die-cast hoops. These hoops offer a sharper attack and cut in more aggressive playing styles with a loud, crisp, and clear rimshot and cross-stick sound.
What about the hardware? The Ludwig Universal Brass Snare Drums are fitted with heavy-duty tube lugs, a P88i throw-off, a P35 butt plate, and 20-strand snare wires.
