Possibly the Most-Versatile Guitar Ever Made

With the Line 6 Shuriken Variax SR250 you get a standard-scale (25.5") model that's the result of a fantastic collaboration between Shuriken Guitars, Line 6 and Yamaha Guitar Development. This modern, high-quality guitar features a unique body shape, an Indian Ebony fingerboard, a custom mid-gain humbucker, and all the sonic versatility that Variax HD technology is renowned for.

Variax HD Modeling

One of the key factors in the rising popularity of Variax guitars is the inclusion of the Variax HD modeling technology, which gives you option of choosing between dozens of high-quality sounding instrument models for when the guitars excellent single coil pickups just aren't right for your situation.

With models ranging from rare vintage electrics and fabulous acoustics, to even more exotic instruments (such as a sitar) available, not to mention a huge selection of tunings without having to adjust the guitar's tuning pegs at all, there is almost no end to the sonic capabilities of the Variax Standard, whether you're in the studio or live on stage.

Workbench Software

In addition to the Variax HD technology, and to perfectly compliment it, Line 6 have developed Workbench HD. This fabulous piece of software allows you to download or create your own instrument model, fine-tune individual string pitch, string volume, pickup position, and more, before uploading them to your Variax Shuriken ready for you to use.

Fine Craftsmanship

Not only does the Variax Shuriken give you so many options with the sound it produces, but it also provides you with an incredible playing experience thanks to Yamaha's world-renowned team of guitar makers. Its nicely curved and lightweight body is attached to a sleek, smooth-playing neck, making the playing experience as comfortable as possible for you.
