Four Display Modes
With four metre display modes to choose from, the Korg Pitchblack Advance pedal tuner is extremely easy to use.
Not only do you have a standard "Regular" mode, there are also "Strobe" and "Half-Strobe" modes which use the direction and speed of the metre movement to indicate the pitch change.
The strobe modes make tiny changes in pitch extremely easy to see.
Finally, there's a "Mirror" mode on offer which has LEDs on the left and right, meeting in the middle as you tune to the correct pitch.
Ultra-High Tuning Accuracy
In Strobe mode, the Korg Pitchblack Advance tuner pedal gives you +/-0.1 tuning accuracy.
This ultra-high tuning precision is perfect for recording or playing live in a band when perfect tuning is required.
True Bypass for Pristine Signal
With its true bypass design, the Korg Pitchblack Advance tuner leaves your signal completely untouched.
When the tuner isn't activated, the pedal will be completely muted and will not colour or change your tone whatsoever.
DC Out Convenience
For added convenience, the Korg Pitchblack Advance tuner pedal features a DC OUT which you can use to power a separate effect unit when powering the tuner from an optional AC adaptor.
Furthermore, since there's a dedicated power supply circuit for the DC OUT, you can get stable, noiseless, 9v 200 mA power.
Noise Elimination
When using a power supply, you'll sometimes encounter noise that has been caused by interference between different pedals on the same supply.
To combat this, Korg have equipped the Pitchblack Advance tuner pedal with a circuit that suppresses sudden current changes and features software control to ensure this kind of unwanted noise is completely avoided.
Incredible Battery Life
If you choose not to use an AC adaptor or power supply, you can power the Pitchblack Advance tuner using a 9V battery.
Designed for high-efficiency and long-life performance, this pedal tuner will give you approximately 30 hours on zinc-carbon batteries and around 60 hours on alkaline batteries.
