Increasing performance potential, the Korg Kross’s polyphony has improved from 80 simultaneous voices to 120 voices while the internal program count has increased from 808 to over 1000!
The Korg Kross is suitable in any music scenario right out of the box with built-in sounds including layered pianos, electric pianos, strings and more.
It now also comes with a new range of drum kits and synth sounds so it’s great for modern EDM and other contemporary styles of music.
High Quality EDS-i Sound Engine
A driving force behind the incredible sound the Korg Kross 2 can produce is the EDS-i sound engine.
The Enhanced Definition Synthesis-integrated sound engine is the same as that found in Korg’s professional synths and gives you rich, expressive sound and a library of 134 high-quality effects.
You get all the standard effects such as reverb and delay along with amp modelling, vintage effects units and a vocoder adding to your performance potential!
Great Built-In Sampler with 16 Sampler Pads
More than just a synthesizer, the Korg Kross 2 boasts some incredible sampling capabilities so you don’t need a separate device.
With the LINE IN jack, you can record audio and assign stereo samples of up to 14 seconds to each of the 16 playable pads and trigger up to four of them at once.
Editing the wave form of your samples is easy using the start/end loop point settings and normalise functions too.
Furthermore, you can resample within the Kross 2 and assign long audio files from an SD card to the pads.
Incredibly Portable
The Korg Kross has also been made more portable since its first release, going from 4.3kg to an incredibly lightweight 3.8kg.
Adding to its mobility, the power efficiency has also been improved, giving you up to seven hours of battery operation from six AA batteries.
