Over 1000 Wide Ranging Preset Sounds
Allowing you to get the best performance possible yet from a Kross synth, Korg have expanded the Kross 2’s polyphony.
While the original Korg Kross was capable of 80 simultaneous voices, the Korg Kross 2 can handle 120. The internal programs have also increased from 808 to over 1000.
Allowing you to perform any style in any band, the KORG KROSS has all manner of instrument sounds from multi-layered pianos and electric pianos to beautifully rich string sections and more.
It also has a great new range of drum kits and synth sounds built-in so it’s perfect for performing EDM too.
High Quality EDS-i Sound Engine
The Korg Kross also makes use of the EDS-i sound engine; the same sound engine found in Korg’s professional synthesizers.
The Enhanced Definition Synthesis-integrated sound engine (EDS-i) gives you rich, expressive sound with 134 high-quality effects.
You can choose from standards such as delay and reverb along with highly detailed amp modelling, vintage effect units and a vocoder.
Great Built-In Sampler with 16 Sampler Pads
Taking it beyond a standard synth, the Korg Kross 2 has a built-in sampler with 16 playable pads.
Using the LINE IN jack you can record audio and assign stereo samples of up to 14 seconds to each of the pads and trigger up to four of them at once.
With start/end loop point settings and normalise functions, you can easily edit the sample waveform and get your samples perfect.
What’s more, you can resample within the KROSS 2 and assign long audio files to the pads from files on an SD card.
Incredibly Portable
To make the Korg Kross more portable, they’ve taken from an already low weight of 4.3kg to an even more lightweight 3.8kg.
The Korg Kross can also be battery operated and Korg have increased power efficiency so that it can run for up to seven hours on six AA batteries.
