A Funky, Tripped Out Envelope Filter
With the Keeley Neutrino V2 you get an amazingly toneful and compact form of the classic opto-coupler envelope filter.
This pedal takes your guitar signal and creates an "auto-wah" effect based on your playing dynamics - in other words, the harder you play the strings, the more pronounced the wah!
Keeley Neutrino V2 Envelope Filter Key Features
- Envelope Filter and Auto-Wah for guitar, bass and keyboard
- Peak Control: Sets how much “quack” there is, or how smooth you roll
- Filter Selector: lets you choose between 3 types of filters: High, Low, and Band Pass.
- Range Switch: HI or LO.
- Direction Switch: Up or Down
- True-Bypass, 9 VDC, 25 mA, 100% analog and made in the USA.
Opto-Coupler Based
All the best envelope filters are based around opto-couplers, as they generate a much more organic sounding effect, with the opto-couplers used for the Neutrino V2 being particularly smooth, resulting in an amazing vowel-like tone.
Whether you're wanting a light auto-wah effect for a jam session, or a full-on funkadelic explosion of sound, this pedal is where it's at.
Intuitive Controls
With controls for Gain and Peak, alongside a Filter Band Selector to choose between Low, Both, and High settings, getting the sound you want couldn't be easier.
In addition to this there's also a toggle switch that allows you to adjust the operating the range of the variable filter - Lo for low frequencies, Hi for high frequencies.
Top Notch Construction
In true Robert Keeley fashion, the Neutrino V2 is crafted using some seriously high-quality components.
This includes a power supply voltage-doubler (granting an incredible amount of headroom), the afore-mentioned opto-couplers, and a rugged outer-chassis that ensure it'll last for many years to come.
