Boasting a brand new body design, the Jackson Spectra Bass not only looks great but plays great too!
Poplar has been used for the body which features a large upper horn to ensure even weight distribution.
With this perfect balance, neck dive is dramatically reduced enhancing comfort so you can play better for longer.
Highly Playable Speed Neck
Attached to the body is a 34" scale length Maple neck with a combination of bolt-on construction and a scarf joint generating incredible sustain.
The neck also gives you the benefits of a "speed neck" contour and satin finish for super smooth and lightning fast playing performance.
What's more, the Laurel fretboard features a 12" - 16" compound radius so you have the optimum playing area across all 24 jumbo frets.
Versatile Electronics
Giving the Jackson Spectra Bass Guitar its versatile voice is a set of two Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups. These Jackson bass humbuckers can give you any tone you want from funk and hard rock to jazz and gospel.
Where you can really start sculpting your signature sound is in the controls.
First, there's a Blend knob allowing you to get just the right amount of each pickup in your output.
You will also find that the Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass JS3Q has a 2-way toggle switch which you can use for coil splitting, effectively doubling your tonal palette.
The volume control allows you to set your overall output level but also functions as a Push/Pull selector for Active/Passive options.
When in Active mode, you can use the on-board 3-band EQ to really shape your sonic identity to perfection.
High Quality Hardware
Fitted to the body of the Jackson Spectra Bass JS3Q is a Jackson HiMass bridge which gives you solid tuning stability, improved sustain and stronger tone.
Up on the unique Jackson 2x2 headstock you'll find Jackson sealed die-cast tuners flanking an understated J logo while providing precise and secure tuning.
The hardware is black nickel throughout, offering great looks along with rock-solid reliability.
