Ceramic Pickups
Created by Jackson themselves, and perfect for heavier music styles, these Ceramic Magnet Humbuckers are a dream come true for metalheads. Featuring enough clear tone and girth to suit a number of hard rock and metal styles, these pickups can be tweaked via the Tone and Volume controls to cut through most mixes with ease.
These high-output pickups produce a stronger magnetic field than their Alnico counterparts. While this may not make much of a difference at bedroom-volume levels, when you turn up the juice they can help push your amps overdrive/distortion levels even further.
In other words, crank those gain levels up to 11 and get ready to frighten the neighbours!
Compound Radius Fretboard
Designed for flexible playing, a Compound Radius Fretboard (12"-16") is curved for more comfortable chord-playing towards the guitar's nut, but flattens out the higher up the neck you go.
This allows you to play those awesome lead chops without accidentally fretting-out during those inevitable string bends.
