Classic Style, Great Playability
The body of the Jackson Concert Bass Minion is made from resonant Poplar wood.
Not only does the double cutaway shape give you that classic bass guitar look, it provides easy access to the upper frets.
Attached to the body via sturdy bolt-on construction is a shortened 28.6" scale length scale length Maple neck.
The neck features a smooth satin finish for fast and comfortable playability.
Graphite reinforcement rods have been installed in the neck to protect it from warping due to adverse temperature and humidity.
Atop the neck is a 12" radius Maple fretboard with its flat shape and 22 jumbo frets allowing for lightning fast bass runs.
Black Sharkfin inlays scream classic Jackson style.
Versatile PJ Pickup Configuration
Giving the Jackson Concert Bass Minion its versatile sound is a PJ pickup configuration.
For the bridge pickup, Jackson have installed a J-Style pickup bass for growling Jazz Bass style tones.
In the neck position, there's a Jackson P-Style pickup, giving you that punchy split-coil Precision Bass sound.
Each pickup has a dedicated volume control so you can mix the sound between the two and get the balance just right for your performance.
A single tone control allows you to put the finishing touches on your sound.
High Quality Hardware
Fitted to the body of the Jackson Concert Bass Minion JS1XM is a hardtail bridge with black base plate, providing precise intonation, solid tuning stability and increased sustain.
TUp on the Jackson pointed 4-in-line headstock, you'll find four sealed die-cast tuners offering secure tuning of your strings.
In contrast to the bass's glorious Snow White finish, the hardware is black throughout giving it an edgy, stylish appearance.
