New features on the RG5121-DBF include Stainless Steel frets, a rigid 5pc Maple/Wenge neck, a gorgeous bound Ebony fretboard, Made-in-Japan Luminlay side dots, and a set of Fishman Fluence humbuckers.
In addition to this, there's a wonderful contrast between the natural Mahogany finish on the back of the guitar, and the striking Dark Tide Blue Flat finish on the top.
High Performance Neck
True to the heritage of the prestigious Ibanez RG guitar, the RG5121-DBF comes fitted with a neck that's carefully designed to suit super-fast, dynamic play styles. In this case, it's a Super Wizard HP 5pc Maple/Wenge neck that's not only a dream to play, but offers an incredible amount of rigidity, despite being so slim.
Your playing experience is further enhanced by the Prestige Fret Edge Treament to the Stainless Steel frets, ensuring that your fingers will glide across your fretboard with ease.
Fishman Fluence Pickups
One of the most talked-about pickups on the modern metal scene, the Fishman Fluence humbucker is the perfect choice for the RG5121-DBF. These pickups provide an aggressive tone and powerful attack, but without any noise, regardless of your gain settings.
In addition to this, there's a Voicing Switch, that adds plenty of versatility into the mix. This switch allows you to choose between a modern, active high-output sound, or a crisp, clean and fluid sound.
