Crafting the Ibanez PC12MHCE
The Ibanez PC12MHCE has a Grand Concert body – extremely comfortable to play due to its smaller size body compared to guitar styles such as the dreadnought, this model also produces a focused, articulate sound.
Allowing for easy reach of the upper frets, the body has a cutaway making it perfect for guitar solos and other adventurous styles of guitar playing.
African Mahogany has been used for the top, back and sides of this electro-acoustic guitar with an open pore natural finish really showing off the natural qualities of this beautiful wood. Attached is a Mahogany neck which features a Laurel fretboard.
High Quality Hardware and Electronics
Up on the headstock of the PC12MHCE, you’ll find chrome open gear tuners with butterbean knobs allowing for easy tuning of the guitar.
On the body, there’s a Laurel bridge, with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, facilitating great transfer of energy from your strings to the resonating African Mahogany top of the guitar.
Allowing you to plug in and play live and loud, the Ibanez PC12MHCE comes equipped with an under saddle pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp.
The AEQ-2T preamp is great for live performances thanks to its easy-to-use 2-band EQ which allows you to adjust the bass and treble frequencies to get your preferred tone and a volume knob allowing you to adjust the preamp gain level.
What’s more; the Ibanez AEQ-2T also features an onboard tuner so you can tune your guitar whenever you need to – perfect for gigs – and you never have to take along a separate tuner.
