The ALT20 in Weathered Black is an Altstar series acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It is made in China and is the initial model in the Altstar line.
The ALT20 features a small dreadnought body shape with a Venetian cutaway. It has a sapele top with a tri-oval soundhole on sapele back and sides. The maple neck has a 22-fret walnut fingerboard with binding and special Altstar position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a walnut bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez tuning machines. Electronics consist of an Ibanez undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ2UT preamp with onboard tuner powered by two CR2032 coin batteries and ¼" stereo output jack.

Ibanez Advantage bridge pins
These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.
