The ADAT Card for HB PRO Hub is an expansion option that enables the HB PRO Hub to communicate with audio equipment using the ADAT protocol. This card enhances the connectivity options of the Hear Back PRO system, allowing for seamless integration with devices supporting ADAT.
Key Features of the ADAT Card
- Simultaneous 16-Channel Audio: The ADAT Card enables the simultaneous sending and receiving of 16 channels of digital audio. This provides expanded audio routing capabilities and facilitates communication with ADAT-compatible devices.
- Backwards Compatibility: The card is backward compatible with the original 8-channel Hear Back system. This ensures compatibility and interoperability with existing Hear Back systems, allowing for integration and expansion.
- Optical ADAT TOS-Link Inputs and Outputs: The card features two optical ADAT TOS-Link inputs and two optical ADAT TOS-Link outputs. These connectors support the transfer of digital audio signals using the ADAT optical protocol, providing high-quality audio transmission.
- RJ45 HearBus Outputs: The ADAT Card also includes two RJ45 HearBus outputs, which allow for seamless connection to the original Hear Back system. This feature enables integration and compatibility between the ADAT-based expansion and the original Hear Back system components.
- Sampling Rate Support: The ADAT Card supports and automatically locks onto sampling rates of 44.1kHz and 48kHz. It ensures accurate synchronization and seamless communication between the HB PRO Hub and ADAT devices operating at these sample rates.
- Automatic Sampling Rate Down-Conversion: When the system is running at sampling rates over 48kHz, the ADAT Card applies automatic sampling rate down-conversion on the ADAT and HearBus outputs. This feature ensures compatibility with devices that support lower sampling rates.
- A/B Input Switching: Two cards can be populated per HB PRO Hub, allowing for A/B input switching between two banks of 16 channels. This feature facilitates flexible audio routing and management of multiple audio sources.
- Dedicated ADAT Outputs: By populating up to four cards, you can achieve A/B input switching as well as a second set of dedicated ADAT outputs. This enables expanded connectivity options and flexibility in routing audio signals via ADAT.

Returns
If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
*Please note, we cannot accept returns of:
- Special/Custom Orders - Any order that is custom or has been personalised.
- Products with Hygiene Seals - Microphones, any in-ear earphones, monitors, orchestral instruments with mouthpieces and any other items that touch your mouth, nose or inner ear if you have broken the hygienic seal on the packaging.
- Software & Media - Any software or media that has been opened or registered via physical or digital means.
