Brand new from Gretsch, and inspired heavily by the company's "golden age" of the 1950's to early 1960's, the Vintage Select Edition guitars have arrived for those players who like to appreciate the finer moments of musical instrument heritage. The G6134T-58 VS '58 Penguin with Bigsby was designed and finely crafted to help appreciate that legacy.

A Taste of Nostalgia
This premium guitar was crafted in the classic Penguin style with a Vintage White lacquer finish, and replicates the specs and appointments of the 1958 original. The dual TV Jones Classic pickups housed in the beautifully crafted Mahogany body recreate the signature sound of the original 1958 Filter'Tron pickups, perfectly complementing the sound resonance of the chambered mahogany body to fabulous sonic effect.
The Bigsby style tremolo combines effortlessly with the Grover locking machineheads to give you the option of adding tremolo/pitch-bending effects to your playing without compromising the tuning or intonation. Additionally, the Space-Control bridge allows you to space your strings out manually to suit your own play style! Each string is provided with a transversing adjustment to make it possible for you to set a broad spread of the strings for finger style playing, or a narrow spread for pick and chord work.
This beautiful Vintage Style guitar comes complete with a G6238XL Deluxe Hardshell Case.
