Although the classic single cutaway design may be familiar, there’s nothing quite like the Gretsch G5220 Electromatic Jet BT.
With its all-new Black Top Broad’Tron pickups and the amazing craftsmanship of Gretsch, this awesome guitar has an identity all its own.

Great Gretsch Build
One of the great features of the Gretsch G5220 is its chambered body. This chambered Mahogany body features a Maple top, producing rich tone with strong mid-range, accentuated low end and bright highs.
Being chambered, the Gretsch G5220 is also lighter than your usual single cutaway guitars so it’s easier on your back and you can play longer and more comfortably.
Attached to the body is a thing “U” shaped Mahogany neck with a 24.6” scale length. Atop the neck is a Black Walnut fretboard holding 22 medium jumbo frets for great playability.
All-New Broad’Tron Pickups and Versatile Controls
Driving that unique chambered body and Maple top is a set of two, all-new Black Top Broad’Tron humbucking pickups.
Because these pickups are able to deliver pristine clean tone with beautiful note balance, aggressive overdrive tones with fantastic definition and all sorts in between, you’ll find the Broad’Tron humbuckers suitable for most any style.
Giving you complete control over your sound is a set of simple yet comprehensive and versatile controls.
A three-position switch allows you to choose between using either of the pickups individually or both together.
Also, each of the two pickups has their own dedicated volume control. On top of that, you have Master Tone and a Master Volume knob for overall control.
Furthermore, the Master Volume control features a treble bleed circuit so you retain all the clarity of your high end, even when playing at lower volumes.
Great Looks to Match the Great Sound
Not only does the Gretsch G5220 Jet play and sound great, it has looks to match too!
Adorning the Black Walnut fretboard are pearloid big block position inlays guiding your way up and down the neck.
Down on the body, there’s a striking and stylish V-stoptail keeping secure hold of your strings.
You’ll also find the G5220 flaunting a silver plexi pickguard with a black Gretsch logo, while the control chrome finished control knobs are emblazoned with the G-Arrow design.
