Top Notch Construction
With its weight-relief Mahogany back and two-piece Maple top, the natural tone of this Les Paul Custom is rich and warm, with the kind of high-end snap that's resonant of those legendary late 1950's guitars.
The solid Mahogany neck is constructed with an extra-long tenon joint, increasing the guitar's natural sustain to incredible levels. In addition to this, the neck is topped with a solid Ebony fingerboard, that's been inlaid with Mother of Pearl blocks, for that classic Les Paul aesthetic.
Each and every piece of hardware on the Les Paul Custom has also been designed to get the very best out of the guitar, in terms of stability and playability. Additionally, the hardware has been gold plated, starkly contrasting the Gloss Ebony finish of the guitar.
Perfectly Matched Pickups
Keeping true to the Les Paul tradition of producing some of the sweetest guitar tones ever heard, this Les Paul Custom comes equipped with a set of Gibson humbuckers: a 490R at the neck, and a 498T at the bridge position.
These pickups take the DNA from the much-coveted PAF pickups of the late 1950s, and has evolved it to appeal to the modern player. The end result is an array of rich, vintage-style tones, with extra mid-range bite, making the guitar they're fitted to suitable for music ranging from electric Blues and Jazz through to Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, and Beyond.
