The Gibraltar Bass Hoop Guards offer a quick, easy and cost-effective way to protect your bass drum hoop against the damage that can be cause by bass drum pedal hoop clamps.
Each time you attach your kick pedal to the hoop of your bass drum there is potential for the clamp to cause damage to the hoop.
While leaving your hoop unprotected won’t affect the sound of the bass drum, in the long run it will cost a lot more money to replace or repair your hoop than it will to protect it in the first place.
Providing a cheap way to avoid the problem, the Gibraltar Bass Drum Hoop Protectors are easy to install and offer robust protection against pedal clamps.
Featuring an adhesive backing, all you need to do is peel off the covering on the back and stick it to your hoop at the place you would typically place your bass drum pedal.
The robust rubber guard provides a protective barrier between the hoop and the pedal clamp to ensure your hoop remains in tip top condition.
The pack includes two guards giving you one to use immediately and a spare to keep in your gig bag just in case.
