As two of the best performing mic preamps ever seen in the Scarlett range, these offer fantastic results.
Now featuring an optional Air setting, you can have these preamps reproduce the Air effect found on the original ISA mic preamp. This is a fantastic way of adding a natural, more open sound and brightness to your vocal and acoustic recordings.
You will also hear the benefit of the Scarlett 8i6 audio interface’s high-performance converters.
Allowing you to record and mix at up to 24-bit/192kHz, these converters ensure professional level audio quality on any recording project.
Comprehensive Connectivity
With the Scarlett 8i6 3rd gen USB audio interface’s two high-headroom instrument inputs you can get fantastic recordings of electric guitar or bass without any unwanted distortion or clipping.
You also have six flexible line inputs available for a whole world of music recording potential for your home studio.
Allowing you to plug in all manner of line level instruments such as synths and drum machines, you have two line inputs on the front with gain control and another four fixed-line on the back.
You can use these to record up to six mono or three stereo line-level sources.
You also have a pair of virtual loopback inputs so you can easily capture a stereo feed from any combination of hardware input and software playback channels. This is particularly useful when you’re live streaming or podcasting.
Digital S/PDIF in and out along with MIDI I/O are present as well as phantom power so you can use your condenser microphones.
