Dreadnought Shape
For the body on this guitar, Ferndale has opted to go with the traditional Dreadnought Shape, which has been a favourite with guitar players the world over for the best part of a century.
The body has been crafted with a Sitka Spruce Top that comprises of two ultra-thin layers of Spruce, and a Carbon Fibre lattice situated between them. This type of construction results in increased resonance and natural volume, combining all-out power with a unique character.The top-piece is accompanied by a layered Sapele Back and Sides, resulting in a rich, natural voice with an impressive amount of projection.
OnBoard Electronics
When you're ready to get out and perform on stage, simply plug your D3-E into an Amp or PA system with the on-board pickup and preamp.
The preamp features controls for shaping your sound, whilst the built-in tuner can ensure you're always sounding at your best.
