Raising the Standard
With the sun setting on the popular Fender Standard series, the Fender Player line takes its place bringing with it improved specs and a range of new colours.
Often referred to as a “workhorse”, the Fender Telecaster has provided the electric guitar sound of a huge range of musical genres over the decades since its first incarnation which was introduced back in 1950.

Timeless Telecaster Body
Despite being in production for around 70 years, the Fender Telecaster still looks incredible. With its single cutaway design, the Telecaster body shape is very distinctive.
But the beauty isn’t just skin deep, the practical reasoning behind this eye-catching design is the easy reach of the higher frets it provides.
Due to its bright, balanced tone and excellent sustain, Alder has been used for the body wood.
Easy to Play Satin Finished Neck
With a satin finish to the back and a modern “C” shape, the Fender Player Telecaster’s maple neck is quick, easy and comfortable to play.
The Pau Ferro fretboard has a 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets for further playability.
Furthermore; if you’re a fan of old-school Fender (and who isn’t?) you’ll love the ‘50s style spaghetti logo on the headstock.
Excellent Electronics and Quality Hardware
New for the Fender Player series are the aptly named New Player Series single-coil pickups and the Fender Player Telecaster is equipped with two of them.
In the bridge position, there’s a hot pickup that’s perfect for rip-roaring lead tones while the neck position pickup gives you warmer tones.
A three-position blade allows you to select how you use the pickups; either of the two individually or a combination of them both.
Simple volume and tone controls are also on board in the form of knurled flat-top knobs and they allow you to find your perfect sound in no time!
On the body of the Player Telecaster is a six saddle strings-through-body Tele bridge. This high quality hardware provides great string stability and intonation while the strings-through-body design enhances sustain.
