Classic Fender Tele Design
Due to its fantastic tone and excellent sustain, Alder makes for a fantastic tone wood and is used for the body of the Fender Player Telecaster.
Not only does the distinctive single cutaway design of the Telecaster look great, it provides easy reach of the upper frets too – perfect for solos and high reaching licks.
Great Feeling Satin Finished Neck
Attached via a sturdy 4-bolt “F” stamped neck plate is a Maple neck.
With its modern “C” shape and smooth satin finish, the neck is extremely easy and comfortable to play.
Atop the neck is a Maple fretboard with a 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets offering great all-around playability.
Furthermore; fans of old-school Fender will appreciate the ‘50s style spaghetti logo on the headstock!
New Player Series Electronics and Quality Hardware
Created especially for the Fender Player series are the New Player Series pickups.
In the bridge position of the Fender Player Telecaster, you’ll find a hot single-coil pickup that’s great for searing lead tone.
Over in the neck position, you’ll find a warmer, chiming, chrome-covered New Player Series single-coil pickup giving you some more sounds to play with.
A three-position blade allows you to choose between using either pickup or a combination of the two while simple Master Volume and Master Tone knurled flat-top knobs allow you to dial-in your perfect sound with ease.
A six saddle strings-through-body Tele bridge has been installed, providing great string stability and intonation while its string-through design enhances sustain.
A Legendary Guitar
One of the most popular and enduring electric guitars of all time, the Fender Telecaster has been inspiring artists and audiences alike since it was first introduced back in 1950.
Testament to its incredible versatility, the Fender Telecaster has been a favourite guitar of such varied acts as Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Brad Paisley and Jeff Buckley.
