Attached to the body of the Player Stratocaster HSH is a satin finished Maple neck with a modern “C” shape profile, so it’s easy and comfortable to play.
The neck features a 9.5” radius Pau Ferro fretboard and holds 22 medium jumbo frets for great all-around playability.
Versatile Electronics
In stark contrast to the traditional pickup configuration of three single-coil pickups, the Fender Player Stratocaster HSH is equipped with two New Player Series humbuckers at the bridge and neck position with a New Player Series single-coil pickup in the middle.
For modern guitarists that require that extra heavy oomph, having humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions gives you the high power, humbucking crunch you desire.
A five-position blade allows you to choose how you’d like to use the pickups with the following versatile options:
- Pos 1. Bridge Pickup
- Pos 2. Inside Coil Bridge Pickup/Middle Pickup
- Pos 3. Middle Pickup
- Pos 4. Middle Pickup/Outside Coil Neck Pickup
- Pos 5. Neck Pickup
For further sonic sculpting, you can make use of the Master Volume control and two separate tone knobs; one for the neck and middle pickups, the other for the bridge pickup.
