50s Aesthetics And Tone
The Fender Custom Shop 52 Telecaster, seen here with a Heavy Relic Butterscotch Blonde finish, is a superb take on one of Leo Fender's original solid body guitar designs.
Featuring a lightweight, two-piece ash body and "C"-shaped maple neck, with a carefully aged nitrocellulose lacquer finish, unless you knew better you'd swear that this guitar was straight out of the 1950s.

Heavy Relic Ageing
To impart this telecaster with a more authentic, early 50's look, the Fender Custom Shop have added the Heavy Relic ageing process during construction.
This makes the guitar look like a genuine, early 50's instrument which has seen plenty of use over the years, resulting in the kind of aesthetics that would other take decades of blood, sweat, and tears to achieve.
"C" Shaped Neck Profile
Whilst the original 50's Telecasters sported a thicker "U" neck profile, this particular guitar has been fitted with a more comfortable 60's style "C" shaped neck.
The shape of this neck is suitably comfortable for all play-styles, and offers a much relaxing playing experience with less physical stress to your hands than the more traditional shape.
50's Style Pickups
Specially designed by the Fender Custom Shop, both the neck and bridge pickups on this Telecaster are built to offer the same tonal characteristics of an authentic "Nocaster" from 1951 (Nocaster being the name given at the time to what later became the Telecaster).
The sound of a vintage Telecaster/Nocaster is instantly recognisable to any who have heard it, with that famous "Tele Twang", and the almost-creamy sounding neck pickup tones you can achieve, it's quite astonishing to think that Leo Fender managed to get things so perfect the first time around.
Period Correct Case
This guitar comes complete with a hard shell case that is designed specifically for this guitar type.
Constructed to keep your guitar safe from harm, the case looks authentic to the time period, both inside and out, and comes complete with a lock and key for that extra peace of mind.
