With this Fender Brent Mason Stories Collection Telecaster you get a fitting tribute to one of the most prolific recording artists of all time.

This guitar is a recreation of the prized Telecaster that Mason discovered in a Nashville guitar shop during the early 1980s, sporting a Primer Grey finish. Mason then fitted new pickups, and even a "bender" system to make it the ultimate session guitar.

Top Notch Construction

As a fitting tribute to Mason's customised '67 Telecaster, this excellent guitar is built to the same specs and utilisees the same Ash Body and Maple Neck combination.

The neck is super sleek, and is capped with a 7.25" radius Maple fingerboard making it extra-comfortable to play, especially if you're playing extensive chord-work.

In addition to this, as with Mason's own guitar, this Stories Collection Telecaster has been fitted with a Glaser Bender system, for that extra-special Country-twang whenever it's needed.

Seymour Duncan Pickups

As you can see from the above images, this awesome guitar doesn't sport the traditional two-single coil pickup setup, instead sporting versatile trio in the Neck, Middle, and Bridge position.

At the Bridge there's a Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack Tele single coil, a pickup that delivers the bite and twang normally associated with a Tele, but without the hum.

In the middle you'll find a Seymour Duncan Hot Stack Strat single coil, which sports a powerful ceramic bar magnet surrounded by two stacked coils, for extra mid range and a stronger, hum-free attack than a standard Strat pickup.

Finally, at the Neck is a Seymour Duncan Vintage Mini Humbucker, which offers a classic blend of bright, single coil high end, with a more focused humbucker low end.

When used individually or in unison, these pickups offer a huge array of tonal options, making the guitar ideal in any situation.

Please Note: due to a change in manufacturing practices at Seymour Duncan, some of the Brent Mason Telecasters may feature a Hot Stack middle pickup without their signature S logo on the covering. This change is purely cosmetic, meaning pickup itself is still exactly the same and still produces that powerful single coil tone we all know and love..

Who Is Brent Mason?

As mentioned above Brent Mason is one of the world's most prolific session guitarist, and has worked on more than 1,000 albums - including on hits with the likes of Dolly Parton and Shania Twain.

In addition to this, he has been inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame, won a Grammy, earned 12 "Guitarist of The Year" awayds from the Academy of Country Music, is a two-time winner of the CMA Musician Of The Year award, and was named one of the Top 10 session guitarists of all time in Guitar World magazine.
