Best known as the frontman/singer-songwriter for indie-rock band, Death Cab for Cutie, Ben Gibbard has recreated his iconic touring Mustang. In collaboration with Fender, together they've captured his signature melodic style and sound. Perfectly equipped to deliver the same powerful sound, this tonal workhorse features a set of modified enhancements to really set your playing apart from the rest.
With a chambered ash body and a one-piece 22-fret modern “C”-shaped maple neck, you'll benefit from both increased body resonance and an incredibly playable neck. Perfect for both the stage and the studio, this versatile modified Mustang can deliver a wide range of tones thanks to its custom, vintage-inspired Ben Gibbard Mustang pickups and a stage-ready 3-way rotary pickup selector switch. Complete with an innovative modified hardtail setup, you've got rock-solid stability, superior sustain and immaculate tone - all in a lightweight package.
