Streamlined Design

Alder has been used for the distinctive Fender Telecaster body which features that signature single cutaway giving you easy access to the higher frets.

However, the body does boast redesigned contours to give you a more comfortable playing experience than ever before.

Adding to the sleek appearance of this newly refined Telecaster body is sporty single-ply binding around the top.

Attached to the body is a Maple neck that boasts the new and unique "Modern D" shape providing comfortable chording and easy soloing.

Traditional rosewood is used for the fretboard which features a 10" - 14" compound radius. With the fretboard rounder at the nut and flattening out towards the upper frets, you get the perfect playing area up and down the entire neck.

Furthermore, between the Ultra Satin finish on the back and the Ultra Rolled fingerboard edges, you get a beautifully smooth and comfortable playing feel.

American Ultra Noiseless Pickups

Two American Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups are installed on the Fender American Ultra Telecaster giving.

These single-coil pickups give you authentic, vintage Fender tone but without any unwanted hum.

A 3-position blade is on hand allowing you to switch between using either pickup or a combination of the two.

Advanced Electronics

You can shape your sound with ease using the Master Volume and Master Tone knobs but not all is as it seems.

For example; while standard circuitry removes all your high end, giving you muddy tone, when you roll off the volume, you don't have that issue with the American Ultra Telecaster.

Equipped with a treble bleed circuit, you can keep all the high-end clarity of your tone even at lower volumes.

What's more, concealed in the Master Volume is a button to activate the S-1 switch.

With the S-1 switch engaged, you can use the Ultra Noiseless Vintage single-coil pickups in series.

This combines the two pickup signals into one for higher output and fuller tone giving you a fatter sound.

High Quality Hardware

Fitted to the body of the Fender American Ultra Telecaster is a six-saddle American Tele bridge.

For this new Telecaster, the bridge has a super low-profile plate for an extra streamlined design.

Within the bridge are six chromed brass saddles offering that signature Telecaster snap along with precise intonation.

Up on the headstock, you'll find six locking tuning machines. These short-post tuning machines allow for incredibly fast and easy re-stringing.

Furthermore, you can lock in your tuning with ease by simply turning the wheels on the back of the tuning machines. No tools required!
