Exquisite Tone
In true EVH 5150III style, this amplifier features an all-valve construction, with two JJ EL34 power tubes, and seven JJ 12AX7 preamp tubes.
In addition to this, the EVH 5150III 50W EL34 has been designed with independent dual-concentric controls, ensuring that the gain and volume levels match, along with incredible tone-shaping capabilities on each channel.
3-Channel Design
This 50-watt valve amp sports 3 distinct channels, and is suitable for pretty much any playing style - whether it's crisp cleans, gravelly crunch, or searing lead lines you desire.
- Channel 1 - a full-spectrum tone, with pristine cleans and natural compression
- Channel 2 - overdrive and heavy gain
- Channel 3 - liquid saturation, for when only the filthiest of distortion sounds will do
Channel 1 and 2 sport dual concentric gain/volume controls and share a 3-band EQ. Channel 3 has independent gain, volume, and EQ controls. In addition to this, all three channels utilise global Presence, Resonance, and Reverb controls.
In addition to this, there's a Power Level control knob, which allows you to adjust your overall power from 50 Watts down to 1 Watt.
Premium-Grade Features
As if that wasn't enough, this amplifier comes equipped with a whole host of premium-quality features, which help make it perfect in any situation.
Amongst these features there's an ultra-high-gain preamp design (which has been custom-voiced for for maximum output), rear-panel selectable output impedance (4, 8, or 16 Ohms) with a pair of parallel speaker outputs, rear-panel MIDI input and preamp output, and much more besides!
