If you're a guitarist who likes the tempo fast and the overdrive at 10, the EVH 5150 Series Standard Stealth Black is the six-string for you. Bringing the predecessor's tonality and aesthetics to the modern age, the 5150 Standard gives a full-throttle attitude and performance that's bound to give your playing an extra spark.
Boasting stellar performance, the 5150 comes with a graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck, which is then refined to provide a sleek, firm hold for the fretting hand. Enabling unlimited access across the entire fretboard. Combine that with the Strat styled basswood body, and you have a guitar that'll ensure an excelled comfort and performance from top to bottom.
To ensure a vibrant and unforgiving tone that holds up to the original, this stunning guitar comes with 2 couple of EVH Direct Mount Wolfgang Humbuckers. Which gives you more tonal variety than the original, so whether it's pristine cleans or harsh overdrive you're looking for, the 5150 Standard provides unbelievable clarity.
And finally, it wouldn't be a true homage to Eddie's unique style if it didn't involve a tremolo system. The EVH brand Floyd Rose bridge allows you to indulge your inner Van Halen stylings without sacrificing your tuning stability. But that's not all, the patented D-Tuna allows you to jump back and forth from Drop D to Standard tuning in an instant. Incredible.
