An Iconic Blast From The Past
Blending throwback aesthetics with modernized features, the 5150 Deluxe combines a modified Strat-style basswood body, topped with rippling quilt maple, with a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck, complete with comfortable modified 'C' shape, for lightning fast playing and completely unhindered position shifts.
Fitted with an extra humbucker when compared to the original, the all-new 5150 Deluxe boasts a pair of custom designed EVH WolfgangAlnico 2 humbucking pickups that deliver plenty of punchy, mix-cutting tone and sustain-rich articulations - perfect for everything from thick overdriver rhythms to pristine and detailed cleans.
With the addition of a new lower bout kill switch and a Top-Mount EVH-Branded Floyd Rose Bridge & R3 Locking Nut, you'll have absolute no problem replicating some of those adventurous moves that Eddie so often pulled out of the bag - a true must-have for fans of the iconic Hair-Metal hayday.
