The Evans MX2 White Marching 28” Bass Drum Head is a 2-ply head with a unique, versatile dampening system allowing you to achieve the sound you require.
Dampened Marching Bass Head
The Evans MX2 White Marching Bass drum range is at the bright end of the Evans bass marching range, only beaten in brightness by its black finish counterpart.
Featuring a 2-ply construction this durable bass drum head includes a unique tone damping system that can be easily manipulated to achieve the sound you require.
The Damping System works by applying individual felt arcs to the bass head to enhance articulation and to focus low-end tone. The felt arcs are included with the bass drumhead.
This means you can adjust your tone as required to ensure you have the sound you want whether you’re performing indoors or outside.
Level 360 Technology
As with all Evans drum heads, this MS3 Snare Side features unique Level 360 Technology.
This technology means the rim of the drum head has a vertically enhanced collar which ensures balanced contact with the shell bearing edge. This results in a proper contact between the head and the shell, ensuring a consistent fit so that the head won't damage easily or lose tension. The drumhead rim also features a roll-over hoop designed to improve the strength and stability of the head without diminishing performance.
This technology ensures a more consistent head to shell contact that provides a wider range of tuning, better responsiveness and resonance, and a stronger, longer lasting head. What’s not to like?
