Black Ported Bass Reso Head
The 22” EQ3 resonant bass drum head from Evans is slightly brighter in tone than the EMAD Resonant series.
Featuring an off centre 5" mic port hole, this single ply 10 mil drumhead is a popular choice for drummers and sound engineers alike.
The port hole makes this head extremely to mic up for live and studio performances.
The heads smooth black finish offers a professional aesthetic for the front of your bass drum.
The Evans EQ3 bass reso offers a balanced amount of sustain and tone for a full, well-rounded bass sound.
Level 360 Technology
As with all Evans drum heads, this MS3 Snare Side features unique Level 360 Technology.
This technology means the rim of the drum head has a vertically enhanced collar which ensures balanced contact with the shell bearing edge. This results in a proper contact between the head and the shell, ensuring a consistent fit so that the head won't damage easily or lose tension. The drumhead rim also features a roll-over hoop designed to improve the strength and stability of the head without diminishing performance.
This technology ensures a more consistent head to shell contact that provides a wider range of tuning, better responsiveness and resonance, and a stronger, longer lasting head. What’s not to like?
