Sparrowhawk Construction
The Sparrowhawk’s body shape was designed by Bill and he incorporated elements from a number of different guitars he admired.
When looking at this Bill Kelliher signature guitar you can see hints and references to many incredible guitars but there is also the ESP Sparrowhawk’s own distinctive and unique character.
Mahogany has been used when crafting the Sparrowhawk’s distinctive shape. Its body design and a smooth heel joint provide fast and easy access to the higher frets so you’re not held back when it’s time to wail.
A three-piece Mahogany neck is attached via set-through construction and features a satin finish for an extremely smooth and fast playing feeling.
The neck sports an Ebony fretboard which features 22 X-Jumbo frets with block inlays as position markers.
Duncan Distortion
Giving the Sparrowhawk its powerful sound is a set of two Seymour Duncan Distortion pickups. These amazing humbuckers provide rich, complex tones for a variety of styles.
Amazing sonic potential is facilitated by optional split modes. Just pull the volume knob to split the bridge pickup and the tone knob to split the neck pickup.
To further tailor your sound, you can adjust the volume and tone knobs or use the toggle switch to select your required pickup configuration.
High Quality Hardware
Contrasting with, yet beautifully complementing, the Military Green Sunburst Satin finish is the gold coloured hardware.
On the headstock is a set of LTD locking tuners, allowing for quick, precise and stable tuning of your strings.
On the body of the ESP LTD Sparrowhawk is a Tonepros locking TOM and tailpiece, so your strings are perfectly aligned and setting the perfect intonation is easy.
