This bass boasts superior tone and response, producing a ground rumbling low end with plenty of punch and responsive mid-frequencies, and a sprinkling of bright and sparkling highs. With the exotic wood construction, and burled maple top, this bass looks, feels and sounds every bit a professional-grade instrument.
Well Balanced Electronics
The Aguilar AG4P/J-HC pickup combination provides you with a flexible array of tones to play with, whether you're after those trademark thunderous lows from the neck pickup, or the midrange cut of the bridge - or even a combination of the two - without 60 cycle hum. The 2-band active EQ adds that extra dimension, letting you sculpt your tone to get the perfect sound for every situation.
The Price
The quality of any professional-grade instrument is usually reflected in it's price. However, ESP's LTD factory has gotten into the habit of producing some really high-end instruments at a fraction of their competitors price. Whilst not quite a beginner-friendly price, the cost of the LTD RB-1004BM is certainly affordable, especially for professional musicians and serious ESP enthusiasts.
