- ESP Black Metal Series - Black Metal series instruments from the ESP LTD lineup are comparable to the LTD Deluxe 1000 Series of instruments in terms of quality, but they're crafted with a design theme of all-black finish, components, and hardware for a Dark and Menacing aesthetic
- High-Quality Construction - the body on this bass has been crafted from Alder, and features a classic dual-cutaway design for easy access to the upper-register notes
- High Performance Neck - bolted on to the body is a Maple neck, that sports an Extra Thin U profile shape, and which is capped with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard. Together, this neck and fingerboard make for a super-slick playing experience, allowing your fingers to liberally glide over each and every fret
- No-Nonsense Design - as with all entries into the Black Metal collection, this AP-4 bass features an all-black design, with Black hardware, pickup cover, and even a satin Black finish to the body and neck. No need to worry though, as this bass doesn't need to look flashy to stand out from the crowd
- Powerful Voice - the big, modern-sounding EMG 35CS humbucker on this bass is perfect for players who want to bring the thunder whilst taming the higher frequencies of their bass tone. This pickup delivers plenty of warmth and punch, with a smooth top end and plenty of output
