Most hot humbuckers concentrate all the pickups power onto a narrow frequency bandwidth. But not with the DiMarzio Steves Special Pickup. Finished here in Cream with Black pole pieces.
Dimarzio's dual-resonance design distributes the sound over a broader range. The result is a pickup where the bass and treble are boosted and mids held back. The end sound means that the pickup doesn't push a high-gain amp into overdrive as easily.
Perfect for the fast player that needs that extra clarity with fast sweeps and cleaner chords even with high-gain amps.
This pickup has standard spacing.
